Trio of post-rock instrumental metal and punk, who sample electronics and whose sound is pitched somewhere between Khanate, High On Fire and Neurosis. Allegedly drawing influence from classic gore and horror movies to the cartoon violence of comic books, their inspirations are wholly appropriate for the music that they offer. Described as a simple metal band without vocals, Zonderhoof are musically worthy-to-be-signed material. But with tracks like 'william the bastard', some may find this an ignorant stab at a wonderful name.
