Roughly
three hours passed between me opening the envelope with this demo in and
reading the info sheet, which claimed Zonderhoof were an Eastern European
instru-metal trio who moved to Cardiff for unspecified reasons, and being
'tipped off' that this was not entirely true.
Well, as long as they're here I'm happy: here are three tracks which pack dirty low end and tricksy time changes, rattling the rafters like the Melvins (the opening track especially), Keelhaul and Pelican. I am officially excited.
